Here's what others have to say...

I've been using a similar model for several years now and can't imagine riding without it. I've beat the heck out of it and not done any maintenance to it and it still works like a champ. Dropping your seat for the decent is safer and came make you much faster as it lowers you center of gravity and gives you room to move.

Can't remember the brand of bulky hip and tailbone pad that these replaced, but these are so much better. Much more comfortable and just as good or better protection without all the bulk. Plus you can adjust the pad thickness to suit your mood or slimness. Used for both mountain biking and skiing. Yes, I'm a baby and like pads when I wreck.

These are my wifes and she is starting to get angry with me for stealing them from her. They are way comfortable for downhilling and even for pedaling and I find they offer almost as good as protection as the burly hard plastic ones. They have rotated and slipped down on me during a crash, but I'll take some responsibly for not having them properly cinched down. Great all around knee pad.

So these are pretty full on protection and of all the others I've had, they are the most comfortable, for ones with hard plastic. They get better after breaking in, but if not properly cinched down will rotate during wipeouts as others have indicated. They have protected me from some bad hits though and I haven't found another hard plastic one that I light more.

Used this a lot at Trestle and Highland last summer and loved it. Previous one was a six six one and there is no comparison. This one is not nearly as bulky and provides much more mobility. Several un-intentional test crashes saved many body parts. Most of the pads are removable too, which has been nice for some enduro type races where I wanted just a little protection.

**Also, my wife has this same one as well and loves it. Not many options for female pressure suits and the flexible chest protector forms well around...women bumps.

The screen is super handy and doesn't make it that much bigger. If you are using it everyday and forget some of the functions, the screen display makes it much easier to use. Also nice to see if you have the correct angles.
