I'm right in between a 9.5 and 10 US. Any suggestions on a medium or large? Thanks
I just started using this jacket over the past couple weeks and I love it. Started riding in the 40s with it and with a sleeveless base layer it worked great. Today was in the low
30s when I left and with a long sleeve baselayer it kept me very warm. Blocks the wind great and my only complaint would be that the back pocket can be a little hard to reach into while riding. Besides that it's one of my favorite pieces of gear I've ever owned.
I gotta say after using this jersey on about 20 rides now I'm completely sold on it. I bought it when still living on the west coast but now that I'm back in the Midwest I can use it on anything below 60 degrees. I was out in a 35 degree weather ride and pair with a midweight, arm warmers and ss jersey this thing definitely kept me warm enough. I agree the front zippers for ventilation do not really help much. Sizing is pretty close to normal tight fit
compared to some other castelli items. I definitely feel like the arms have the wind stopper fabric and in the rain for the last 30 minutes of my ride it kept me warmzx
For leg warmers these are great at repelling water but only really kept me warm down to around 50 degrees. I've ridden in the rain and they definitely kept me dry but on rides that get into the 40s I definitely feel the wind slipping through the warmers. Overall I really like them but with the weather getting colder I'm going to have to use thicker leg warmers on non rainy days. These don't stretch as much as my other warmers and I had to order up a size so they would fit around my calves.
Let me start with saying that I'm already a huge fan of castelli apparel and these were better than I expected. I just moved back to the Midwest so I had to get something for my winter training and these so far are working great. First time using the kiss3 chamois and it's definitely more comfortable than the chamois in my castelli podium collection bibs. I've rode on these bib shorts about 6 times now and the weather has ranged from 40-60 degrees. No problems in either condition and I think I should be fine riding in them down to 30 degrees. If they keep me warm down to that I'll definitely be purchasing another pair. I'm 160 and 6ft tall and a medium fits perfect. Tight but not restricting.
I've used this vest 4 times now and I gotta say that very happy with my purhase. I wear a medium in castelli jerseys for the most part and the medium in this fits great and seems to stretch well. I'm 6ft and 155lbs. Started wearing on early morning rides in the low 50s but once it got into the mid 60s I had to unzip it. Anything above 68 and I'm taking it off completely because of the fleece collar just warms my neck too much. I'm actually looking forward to it getting colder so I can wear it longer. Only issue I have is I wish it had a back zipper to access my back jersey pockets or a small zipper pocket for keys/phone. Overall great though
Great fit and has worked great on chilly weather morning rides for me. I haven't used it in the winter yet but I definitely plan to. I went with short sleeves over long because I don't mind wearing arm warmers with it. I'm 6ft tall and about 160 and the small/med size fit very tight but I wanted that under armour type compression feel. The sleeves are form fitting enough that they don't bunch up under my race fit jerseys.
I had a pair similar to these in a medium and I felt like they were a little too tight so when I purchased these I went with a large. Definitely a perfect fit and they are still tight like I wanted just not cutting off circulation. I'm 6ft and 160lbs. The chamois had to be broken in but after about 80 miles on them they felt great. Definitely looking to purchase another podium style in the future but unfortunately the bormio isn't available.
