Thanks Chris. I went ahead and ordered them before I had an answer come through. For anybody wondering these are the GXP version and aren't compatible with every bb type and therefore the other option is the BB30 crankset.

This is a great bb that's super affordable. If you aren't bound by having the most expensive parts on your bike there really isn't that any weight difference between this and the blackbox xx version. Your biggest difference is your bearings, but I have this on three of my bikes and my spouses and they are bullet proof. Never had any issues or complaints. I like the darker anodized look too.
I own the 17 too and have purchased many of the original CB bike tools as gifts to family members and biking pals. I have seen some of them get loose but that's just a quick tighten to fix and you're good. I would love to see some pics of the actual tool open with attention to the details and make some judgment calls from there. Show me the goods!
I've had fork mount racks for years and finally made the switch to this and couldn't be more happy. So convenient and I really like the new updated security features of the lock cables for each bike and the locking hitch. I also really appreciate not needing to take a wheel off or lift it over my head because I am a lazy weakling.
Cool description but it seems pretty douchey that this glamorized version of their old tool is almost $60. The douchebag boss probably would be the guy buying this. For having so many features, too many to name it would be nice to see an actual photo of them.
I put my favorite beer cap-Samual Smiths and it's so rad. Keeps me working hard for my reward at the end of a ride.
The valve heads used in all Lezyne products are the bomb. No more messing with wonky micky-mouse applications and comes in a nice protective shell. Best value and best looking by far.
This is my third niner cogalicious cog and I love it. I have several of the tooth sizes in my quiver as to work in different areas of riding. Best value for a cog by far.
I ordered a medium for my 29er and it was huge. I think the sizing refers to how big of a chainstay it fits and not the length, which i based my size off the length because of a review below. I would order a small for 75% of the bikes out there and if you have a huge chain stay on a downhill bike then maybe go with the med or large. Looks sexier than the lizzard skins for sure!
Bought these as an economical solution to a 29er budget build. Have the equivalent of these in the carbon version and loved them and picked these up too keep the width I prefer. They are light, aluminum and have nice color ways at a great price.
I've been using pretty much since day one. Love how comfy they are, and how they have minimal impact on my carbon bars. They absorb much more jittery shock than any lock-on's or other less dense foam grips out there. Keep it core, keep it simple.
How is this different from the T2 with STL2 Lock? Seems like both have the same features and locks?

Does this come with a BB?
I used this on a new bike I got with a PF30 type BB so I could keep using my GXP/BSA Cranks until I could afford some BB30 cranks. There are a few out there but this one is legit, composite material, works perfectly. In my photo you can see how it basically just sits/looks like a bb spacer. If you need to use spacers with your cranks just use them the same way you would on your regular BSA English threaded bbs shell.
Nothing better than a Thomson post and matching stem. Light enough and will last you a lifetime. Easy to adjust. Use a level on your seat when you install to make sure it's level. Have fun!
I have a few different hydration packs that have served me well but nothing like the M.U.L.E. With the version of the Camelbak bladder and the wide range of adjustments this pack offers, it might just be my favorite pack. Its small enough to use when I go Mountain Biking, but adjusts to be able to carry a big load when I go on a day hike...it's like a trusty little load toting mule that wraps itself on my back holding all my valuables safely.
The thing I like the most about this pack and what differentiates it from the others I have had is that its comfortable under load, has loads of features, straps, adjusting, and has cool removable hip straps if you don't want them dangling down and it doesn't have any harsh edges that dig into your back as you pedal or hike.
Get yer hike on!
