I actually own another stand, but my brother-in-law has this one. Mine is also a portable stand that has tripod legs. However mine has the traditional clamp that you would clamp on a seat post. When we built my wife's cervelo slc sl, it has an aero seat post which forced me to clamp onto the carbon frame. I was nervous that I was going to put too much pressure on the frame and have it break. The PRS 20 eliminates that problem by not clamping at all. It just sits on the bottom bracket and clamps in on the front fork. No worrying about crushing carbon. Genius.
I bought a bunch of these for a week long ride I did down the pacific coast. The bonktown price couldn't be beat. They work well but I wish that the valves were threaded. That way you use that little screw like they have on the specialized tubes to help get the pump on and prevent pinch flats while pumping. I have Mavic Ksyriums and when the tires are all the way flat it is a little hard to get the pump onto the valve. But I rode from Portland to San Fransisco with a pair of these tubes without a single flat. 4/5 stars from me.
I got this vest as a Christmas gift really like it. I was on a group ride in southern Utah and a storm blew in when we were far from home. We had no choice but to ride back in a down poor. I slipped this baby on and was the only one without a red mud streak up my back. My vest just washed right off. (if only it could have covered my bibs). It is light weight and stows in your jersey pocket without any trouble. I am 6'0" and 175 and my large fits me well. Castelli sizes are a bit weird. I usually wear a medium jersey but got the vest a size larger to fit over a base layer and jersey...glad I did.
I am a fan of the Fi'zi:k bar tape. I have had the black cork stuff as long as I can remember and decided to switch to white. I tried a white cork but it got dirty too fast. This tape has stayed clean much longer. It doesn't have the padding that cork does but it makes up for it in style. I have gotten used to it anyway and don't really wear gloves either. Since my initial purchase I have put this tape on many of my friends bikes and on my commuter. I am sold.
These arm warmers are sweet. I have had a pair of santini arm warmers. The pearl izumi warmers are much warmer and cost less. Plus the visible seams look sexy. I am 6'0" and 175 lbs and ordered the mediums and they fit nice (although I do has skinny arms). This are small enough to stuff in your jersey pocket and keep you ready for any weather without weighing you down. I don't know how I lived without warmers.
All I can say is 20g of protein in a bar that tastes like a girl scout thin mint cookie! Chocolate mint is the best post ride protein bar I have every tried. I am sold. No more gross shake for me. We bought a box for a Portland to San Fransisco ride and they were the first thing to be eaten. Highly recommended!
