ABC123's Bio

Originally from the outskirts of NYC, I moved out west first to Crested Butte, Colorado to ski some steep and super fun terrain. After years of splitting my life between the east and west coast, I have settled in Salt Lake City, Utah. It is here in the Wasatch Mountains that I am able to satisfy my thirst for deep epic powder days. When I am not skiing at Alta, I love to mountain bike, trail run, hike, camp, fly fish and do just about anything that involves being outside. I also love to travel, hang out with good friends and enjoy an ice cold PBR at the end of a hard worked day.

I am also a PSIA level II ski coach and have worked as a ski instructor and ski coach for several years. In addition for the past fours years I have been competing as a big mountain freeskier on the US Freeskiing World Tour. My sponsors include Backcountry.com, ScottUSA, Fat-ypus , Surefoot, Five Seasons and Alta.

Everyone needs a set of Tire levers and these do the job quite well. So far they have held up and I are quite strong. I haven't had any issues with these breaking or what not. I liked that they came in a three pack, since I have had too lend these out a couple of times. Also they are light and make the job of changing a tire a lot faster.

So far this has saved me once and my buddies more than a few time on the trail. I use a pretty small sized camelbak and this fits snugly next to my water bladder. Overall it is quite light and easy to use. Having the Presta and Schrader valve-compatible is a definite plus, since I ride my townie. I just throw this into my oversized purse along with a spare tube and what not. You just never know and it sucks to get a flat miles away from home. Great buy overall!

I purchased this about 2 months ago and considering all of the flats we have gotten on our townies we have used this a ton. It is super durable and even after being left out in the rain a few times, no rust has appeared. Also I love the look and know it was worth the price. I figure this will definitely stand up over the test of time.

I am so happy to see women's body armour! I purchased both the small and medium because I wasn't too sure about the fit, but went with the small. (I am 5'4", around 125 lbs) I took one spill riding the Bobsled trail in Utah and I didn't even feel it on my knees. Not a scratch or bruise the next day. Also they are comfortable to wear on longer rides for leg armour and not too hot.

Unfortunately, this lube gunked up my chain big time...I'm still pretty new to mountain biking...and was told for the type of climate I was riding in this is just NOT the chain lube for me (I live in a dry area, Utah). My buddies said this chain lube would be great in coastal and rainy climates with more humidity. So overall, I believe it was my ignorance of not knowing which chain lube to purchase than the product itself.
