Jammer GT Aluminum Clip-On Aerobar

When getting your road bike tri-ready, clip on Profile Design’s Jammer GT aerobars without having to worry about making major fit adjustments to your bike. The shorter extension length of the bars makes them easily adaptable to the setup of a road bike, and the F-19a aluminum keeps the Jammer GT light but budget friendly. Getting just the right position in aerobars is crucial, and Profile Design’s answer is to include its J2 extension bracket with the Jammer GT. It’s designed to encourage uncomplicated customization, with a wide adjustment range for both length and angular rotation.

Unlike its closely related sibling, the Jammer, the GT was made with armrests covered with removable EVA foam pads that are cushy enough to keep you comfortable throughout your long ride or your 70.3. Go with the Jammer if you won’t be spending as much time in your bars, but choose the GT for the added comfort the higher armrests provide over long distances. Not just a cozy extra, they can also be adapted to get the exact fit you need, with the option of four fore/aft positions and 15 degrees of rotational adjustment.

The Jammer GT accommodates 26.0 and 31.8mm bars, and weigh in at around 512g. You have the option of a 60-120mm stack range, as well as an extension adjustment of 130-190mm. While they aren’t necessarily the lightest among others in this price range, the Jammer GT’s are certainly designed to be the most comfortable with the least amount of hassle.
