Endura's BaaBaa Merino Sleeveless Base Layer makes smart use of Merino wool's natural performance characteristics. Lightweight wool yarn has been used for many years when warmth mattered, wet or dry. It fell out of favor when synthetics hit their stride. But the poly-stink we came to accept as a normal part of wearing the newfangled plastic clothing left us wondering if we should've given up our scratchy wool in the first place. Well, as the years passed, synthetics overcame the smell with anti-bacterial treatments, but wool also grew up as a modern material.

The latest Merino wool, like what you'll find in the Endura sleeveless base layer, isn't scratchy at all. To the contrary, it's as soft as your favorite worn out T-shirt. And it still performs as you'd expect from wool. It has a wide comfort range, will insulate when wet, wicks moisture from the skin, and best of all…it doesn't get stinky like many synthetics still do. The seams are flat stitched, and the collar and cuff are form fitting so the base layer will stay in place and won't bunch up or chafe you in all the wrong spots.
