As they did with the rest of their Super Record components, Campagnolo has updated the look of their Super Record 11 Ultra-Torque Bottom Bracket. To start, the laser etched graphics are uniform with the rest of the gruppo. And through careful study of high- and low-stress areas, the new cups have been lightened to the tune of approximately 11% and yet they yield the same stiffness and same fatigue life.

As noted above, Campagnolo Ultra-Torque bottom brackets come without bearings or an axle. You're buying a set of cups, either English- (68mm) or Italian- (70mm) threaded, and a clip that holds the right crankarm in place. These will work with either 10- or 11-speed Ultra-Torque Campagnolo cranks irrespective of model. They are installed with either Campagnolo's UT-BB120 tool or Park's near-universal BBT-9 bottom bracket tool.

The 2011 Campagnolo Super Record 11 Ultra-Torque Bottom Bracket comes in a Pewter finish. Campagnolo recommends 35Nm of torque for proper installation.
