No matter how well you take care of your bike, if you ride the snot out of it, you'll eventually need to replace the pivot bearings in your rear suspension. In fact, if you go crazy when you clean the bike, it may accelerate the wear if you use a high pressure hose to clean it. It's possible to force the grease from the bearings with the water. In any case, worn bearings make your bike feel sloppy and are annoying. Go ahead and polish 'er up. While you're at it, freshen up your Yeti AS-R Alloy with one of these bearing kits and it'll feel like new.
