The Wippermann Whitestar 108 chain is a trackie fixture. It's fully nickel-plated for smoothness and the plating adds to the mammoth durability you already get from the heavy-duty straight link plates. You get a Wippermann Connex link with it -- a spring link master link that allows you to disconnect & reconnect the chain without tools. Please note that this is a 1/2" x 1/8" chain, so it is not compatible with 3/32" cogs. Track chainrings are almost ubiquitously 1/2" x 1/8", so this is what you want if you're running Campy, Shimano, FSA, Miche, or Sugino. 403g.
