The BB30 concept is a good one. It's hard to argue with lighter, stiffer, smoother, so we won't. SRAM has a BB30 assembly that works in bikes that have BB30 bottom bracket shells and for SRAM BB30-spindle cranks.

The only way you're going to need this bottom bracket is if you have a bike that has a BB30 bottom bracket shell. The kit comes with two sets of steel bearings and mounting hardware. Claimed weight of the SRAM BB30 Bottom Bracket Assembly kit is 60g.
