The Exalith coating on Mavic's new top-shelf wheels will do a number on standard brake pads. The issue is its hardness, along with the machine textured brake track on the rims. Mavic's Exalith Brake Pads are designed specifically for this purpose. They'll provide the best quality performance in all weather conditions, and they'll give you an acceptable duration of usage, more typical of a standard pad/standard rim combo. Exalith Brake Pads come as a pair and are available to fit Campagnolo and Shimano style brake holders. Order two sets to outfit both ends of your bike.

Please Note: These will not fit 2011 Campagnolo brake pad holders.
