FORMULA BRAKES

Part of what makes the Formula R1 Brakes so powerful is their polyester braided hoses. Theses hoses resist expansion due to their construction, and a hose that doesn't flex, moves fluid more effectively from the lever to the caliper, increasing stopping power. If you need a replacement hose, the Formula R1 Hose Kit offers everything that you'll need to make the connection from lever to caliper.

The Formula R1 Hose Kit contains a poly braided hose that has a factory installed banjo fitting for the caliper end, a compression nut, a compression olive, a hose barb, two O-rings, and a rubber hose sleeve. Once installed and bled, you'll be ready to hit the trail. It will fit all of Formula's current brakes including R1, The One, Mega, and RX and can also be used for their older Oro series of brakes, though you'll need to use the 90 degree banjo from your Oro levers.
