Sure, all wheels have names, but each and every wheelset has its own serial number, which Easton can use to trace back all the way to when your wheels were nothing more than separate elements and a gleam in the wheel designer's eye. It's Easton having confidence in their product and giving you a little extra security knowing they hand build each wheel and inspect it each step along the way.

The EA50 Aero is a strong wheelset for every day training and racing. Feathery enough to race on the road. Strong enough for cyclocross. The rim depth is 30mm, which is deep enough to merit only 20 spokes in front and 24 in the rear; the combination is a great mix of light weight, aerodynamics, and durability. The hubs are traditional flanged hubs and roll on sealed bearings for low friction and durability.

The Easton EA50 Aero Clincher Wheelset is available in 700c only and has a rim width of 19mm. The Sapim spokes are bladed and double-butted. The front wheel has 20 radial spokes. The rear has 24, with the drive side being two-cross and the non-drive radial. The brass nipples are durable and allow for sure truing adjustments should you ever have the need down the road. The freehub body is compatible with Shimano/SRAM. The rims are anodized Black with a machined brake track, and the hubs are red to add a splash of color. The wheels come with quick releases. Easton wheels do not have rider weight limits.
