Record Ultra 10 Speed Chain

Campy calls their 3rd generation Record 10-Speed Chain the "Ultra Narrow" because its width shrinks 6.1mm to 5.9mm. What does this 0.2mm difference mean to your drivetrain? While a clean Record drivetrain of any era is as quiet as a thief, the Ultra Narrow chain delivers even more of what we love from our bikes: silence. The weight difference in comparison to the previous generation is only 4g, so our focus is on this quietness, not on weight savings. Campy also states that rear derailleur adjustment is made easier thanks to this new width.

Campy's testing has proven that the Ultra Narrow has the same traction force, pin retention force, wear, resistance to scratching, and resistance to torsional flex as the Record Ultra. Like the Record Ultra, it uses an HD-link closure system.
