The Racing Zero is Fulcrum's lightest 2-Way Fit tubeless wheelset. It saves you 45 grams over the Racing 1 and, even better, you get an upgrade to Fulcrum's USB ceramic bearings to minimize rolling resistance. 2-Way Fit allows you to ride the Racing Zero with Hutchinson Road Tubeless tires. Road tubeless technology offers greater comfort, traction, and performance when compared to standard clincher tires -- the ride is akin to what you'd expect from tubulars. Tubeless + ceramic -- molto bravo! If you get a mid-ride puncture you can remove the valve and pop in a standard innertube. And if circumstances require you to forego tubeless, you can always use a standard clincher tire and tube combo.

The Racing Zeros use a carbon fiber/aluminum hubshell, reducing weight (and adding some sex appeal) in comparison to the Racing 1's full-aluminum construction. The lightness theme carries through the small details, including aluminum axles and bladed aluminum spokes that mate to svelte alloy nipples. Both the front and rear wheels use a 26mm deep rim, however the front wheel has 16 radially laced spokes and the rear has 21 spokes using Fulcrum's Two-to-One pattern. The rear non-drive side has 7 radial spokes and the drive side uses 14 tangentially laced spokes anchored to the oversized right side flange on the rear hub. The Two-to-One pattern ensures an instant, positive response to your pedal input and a better balance of spoke tension for greater durability.

The Fulcrum Racing Zero wheelset has a semi-aero profile rim and bladed spokes so you can be sure that they're ready for your next big event, whether it's into the wind, up in the mountains, or both. The Racing Zero features a new quick release design that offers greater clamping force and more security. There are two freehub versions to choose from -- an aluminum-bodied Campy version and a steel-bodied Shimano/SRAM version. Wheelset weight without included skewers is 1460 grams (625g front, 835g rear).
