ASSOS MEN'S ARM/KNEE/LEG WARMERS
The goal was simple. Improve the comfort, fit, and warmth of leg warmers. An easy task? We doubt it. Leg warmers have been pretty good on all fronts already. It was a puzzle, but Assos managed this feat with their legWarmers.S7 by starting with design. Rather than one-piece and a single material, Assos used multiple panels to contour the muscles in the legs and a mix of fabrics. They also made them side specific.
That's right. There's a left and right leg to these. You'll be able to tell right away because the outsides of each upper portion are noticeably longer then the insides. Greater coverage means more warmth. It also helps the warmers stay up without grippers. They do different sides to each leg with multiple fabrics and careful paneling. The outside panel is made of RXQ fabric. It's light, stretchy, and channeled to trap air against your skin for warmth. RX fabric is a bit heavier and more durable, and it's used on the inside panels. Here, it adds durability against chafing against the saddle. The seaming is offset from the joint to minimize chafing on both the front and the rear of the knee.
Thanks to the generous stretch of the RXQ fabric, there is no need for a zipper at the bottom. Zippers can add a bit of convenience, but often come at the price of more seams that can irritate your leg.
The Assos legWarmers.S7 comes in Black. Sizes are 0, I, and II.
