RAPHA MEN'S CASUAL WEAR
These days, we never ever wear cotton bottoms when training or racing. Cotton gets damp with sweat and stays damp for a long time. Ironically, we have to think hard before we ride off on a quick errand in cotton boxers and cotton pants or shorts. These Rapha Merino Boxer Shorts would remedy that problem.
Cotton, as you know, gets damp and stays damp -- bad for the health of that sensitive area. Like many, we joke about post-ride chamois time, but rarely do we hear a joke about the effects of damp underwear on the area that chamois cream ostensibly protects.
Wool, as you know, wicks well and dries fast. And because it's good at managing the microclimate next to your skin, it can help you feel cooler in the heat and warmer in the cold. Some wool is itchy, but Merino isn't. And the cloth here is constructed from fiber that is 94.5% Merino and 5.7% elastic. The elastic helps it move with your body.
In many respects, these boxers are constructed like cycling shorts. It's basically a six-panel design with a fold-over fly. The panels are joined with flatlock stitching, just like Rapha's cycling shorts. The legs measure 13cm on the size medium. The waistband is 3cm wide on all sizes. For added comfort, the care label is found on the outside of the left leg.
The Rapha Merino Boxer Shorts come in Black or Pink. They're designed to fit close. Wash in cool water and air dry. Sizes run from XX-Small to XX-Large.
