LAZER MEN'S HELMETS
You might not know it, but there’s more to Belgium than just cobbles, beer, frites, and road bikes. Home to some of Northern Europe’s finest singletrack, the small nation has a thriving mountain bike scene -- especially in the hills of the Ardennes, where for nearly two decades a small town called Houffalize played host to one of the most popular rounds of the UCI World Cup. This rich off-road tradition is reflected in the Lazer Nirvana Helmet.
Lazer’s been making helmets for over 90 years, combining a wealth of experience and research to offer some of the finest helmets in the world -- the Nirvana’s no different. Designed to offer maximum protection in a lightweight, ventilated package, the Lazer Nirvana Helmet is perfect for cross-country riders seeking security and comfort. It's constructed using Lazer’s Rigidity Brace System (RBS), a helmet-specific, in-molded reinforcement structure that works like a skeleton to improve impact resistance and guarantee higher safety. In addition, the Nirvana’s sides and back come down a bit lower to offer more coverage, while the 21 vents usher air through the shell, pushing heat out to keep your head cool.
Fit and retention couldn’t be simpler as the Nirvana Helmet uses the Rollsys retention system made popular by Lazer’s road helmets. Compared to other fit systems, Lazer’s patented Rollsys is a fully integrated mechanism that surrounds the head completely. To dial in the fit, simply turn the smooth thumb wheel on top of the helmet. Even better, the Nirvana’s Rollsys tightens symmetrically --without pressure points -- a feeling enhanced by the Nirvana’s antimicrobial, odor-fighting, and temperature-regulating X-static pads.
The Lazer Nirvana Helmet comes in two sizes -- XX-Small/Medium and Large/XX-Large. Designed for the trail but equally at home on the road, the Nirvana is available in Black/white and White/black and has a removable visor.
