Unless you’re using a quick-release standard invented in the ’20s for road bikes, you’re going to need the Park Tools Thru Axle Adapter for the TS-2/TS-2.2 truing stands. Today, modern mountain bikes use a variety of axle sizes—12, 15, 20, and 25mm—and this thru axle adapter covers all of those.
