PRO's Turnix Hollow Anatomic Fit Saddle is built for long hauls spent in its generously scooped out rear section. Whether that takes the form of grinding up multiple alpine passes or grinding out a century is up to you. Either way, when you settle in for a long day's work, the saddle's light padding, anatomic channel, and reliable construction are equal to the challenge. And by "challenge," we mean as challenging as the stones of Roubaix, which Degenkolb himself conquered in 2014 aboard a Turnix model.

This isn't the heaviest saddle in the Turnix line, but the only heavier model is the non-Anatomic Fit Turnix, so it's not winning any awards on the scale. However, the profile's big bucket means it's not for the gram counters; it's for the above-described grinders. It rewards hunkering down and doing the job by helping to rotate your hips forward, putting your engine in a better position to maximize the efficiency of each pedal stroke. The trade-off is that it doesn't maximize the wealth of pedaling positions like the Griffon saddle, whose more subtle scoop lets you slide around more.
