Great light, better value

This is a great light. I used it on the 1200k Gold Rush Randonee. I rode through three nights straight with it. First of all, it's light enough that you can ride with it all day. Also, it's bright enough that I used the lowest light setting when climbing and the second lowest at all other times except for fast descents, when I used the high beam. It's also great that it runs on AA batteries. I never had to change the batteries, but it was comforting to know that I would be able to find batteries for it at any convenience store. I'd always used the NiteRider Minewt X2 before, which I liked, but even on low beam it only lasted about 6 or 7 hours. Not enough to make it through a full night. And who wants to spend 4 hours recharging when you can be riding? And unlike the NiteRider, the power cord on the Princeton Tec can't disconnect while riding, posing a hazard. Finally, one small factor... THE PRICE. This light is a great deal. For a very low price you get the light, batteries, mounts for both regular bars and oversized bars... and a helmet mount. Bottom line... buy it. Then buy rechargable batteries for it.

There aren't any photos showing the back, so i was wondering how do you attach this light to your bike?

Responded on

There is a separate handlebar mount that comes with bike light. There is a clip that slides onto the and handlebar mount and snaps into place

Pretty darn good for the price

This light is way bright, making it way easy to see where you are going. The five Settings are a nice feature. my one gripe is that the battery bag could use a better fastening system.
