Origami Fender
Fenders are a blessing when the roads are wet. But, they can also be bulky, an eyesore, and a brittle, failure-prone accessory. While the cycling community has seen its share of fender innovation, most of these advancements have turned into novelty gimmicks. The lightweight Portland Design Works Origami Fender sports some innovation that actually works and adds to the fenders' versatility. The best thing about the Origami fender is its incredibly flexible construction. Don't need spray protection in the morning? No problem, just pull the Origami off, fold it up, stash it in your bag, and get on with your commute. The front mount uses a simple strap system that attaches to any traditional down tube without marring the finish, and the rear attaches to the seatpost via a 4mm adjustable cam.

Simple & effective
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
Yeah - we know this isn't like having a full fender, fellow reviewers. This is a super cheap, easily installed piece of plastic that can make all the difference on a ride. Keeps anything above it dry - whether that be your bum, your saddle bag or your buddy's face. If you are doing group rides on wet roads, don't be a jerk - buy this simple, cheap thing and use it. Everyone will thank you. I use it on the gravel bike, which has a round seat tube, and on the Giant TCR, which has a tear-drop shaped seat tube; no issues installing on either.
