It works

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

I may look for alternative carry solutions in the future, but for now, this does the trick. The smaller option fits the bars on my vintage Bianchi, so I am living the hipster dream when I go for a coffee ride. If your coffee shop offers stoppers I would grab one. As stated in another review this is a wider ring so it will not fit your aluminum pint or your cappuccino cup, but does carry a standard coffee cup so no complaints.

Scam

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Competitive cyclist shipped a defective product with a damaged screw hole thread, so the mounting mechanism is too loose. I can't use it without spilling coffee over myself in the middle of a ride. And they want me to pay $7 shipping to return to correct their mistake.

Just bought a second one for my wife

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

I have had this on my Surly LHT for 4 years now. Absolutely adore it. This will hold most conical coffee cups. My coworker Matt is correct in his review that this doesn't hold a can but it's not intended to. (pro-tip: this works with the Hydroflask 16 or 22 oz tumblers with any type of beverage *wink) I just bought a smaller circumference mount for my girl's skinny handlebars on her vintage mixte' and it fits perfectly too. Always happy to buy more Portland Design Works products. I now have 10 of their lights, the Sparrow bottle cage on my girl's cruiser, and 2 of the Bar-ista Coffee Cup Holder
