Better thread lock

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

This tool came apart( in my saddle bag) between its 2nd and 3rd use with only being 2 months old. Tried to put it back together myself, but there were too many spacers to deal with. The screws holding the tools in on both sides came loose and gave way to a nice rain of tiny parts on the pavement during mid-ride repair. Fun.

Complete Multi-tool

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Nice tool - has many of the on the go features you need. The chain tool will come in handle on the trail. The tire levers are a nice touch. Very compact. Only complaint is that it is rather heavy.

Great Insurance

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

This is the best tool I've purchased. It has everything I've ever needed in one sleek, compact design. Having this with me gives me the peace of mind that I can fix anything on my bike on the go.

Bottom line: I feel like MacGuyver with Duct Tape when I have this tool in tow.
