Road or Mtn, makes your bike shine
- Familiarity:I've used it several times
I live in UT, we don't get a ton of wet/muddy days. But the moondust can collect on your frame. I don't like washing my bike a ton and this is the next best thing. Keeps the paint looking good without washing away the grease in your bearings.
Ball'n out of control..
best bike spray around... keep your bike sparking better than flint and steel.
Just Like New
- Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer
No bike clean project is complete without Pedro's Bike Lust Cleaner. Works amazingly for a smooth & silky finish to your beloved ride. Non greasy, goes a long way (1 16oz bottle lasted me a year) and overall a great bike cleaning product.
Make your bike look new
After cleaning the bike with the Pro Brush Kit use this as an after treatment care product to keep your frame from looking dull. This product with a quick spray and use of the disposable wipes will make the frame look brand new!
Use it constantly.
I've had a different experience than the other reviewer. I don't think Pedro's claims it buffs out scratches--it's definitely to thin (it's almost water like) for that. I use it when I clean the bike--after I get most of the grime rinsed or wiped off, then I spray this on and wipe it down for a nice shine. It also has silicone in it, so I assume that it has some very light lubrication properties. For that reason, I love to spray it heavily on the front derailleur as a sort of cleaner and lube and polish all in one. I also do the same thing on my clipless pedals. I've notice that dirt/mud cleans off easier after I've used it, so I'll sometimes spray it on around the seat tube and front derailleur and/or on my pedals (without wiping) before a race or ride that will be muddy. Anyway, I love the stuff.
Pedro's Bike Lust not that great
I have a new bike and it was starting to get dull. As we all know keeping your bike clean is the majority of your maintenance. I was disapointed with Pedro's Bike Lust. I used it and really didn't notice any appreciable difference in the look of my bike. I'm going to continue to use it until the bottle is gone and see if it offers the protection it claims but as for buffing out scratches it doesn't really work. The scratches I have on my bike are minimal at this point and Pedro's Bike Lust really didn't seem to do that much. No knock on Pedro's as the other products that I have used I have generally been highly satisfied with.
