Pearl Izumi Elite In-R-Cool Women's Shorts $0.00
Although the selection of women's bib shorts on the market is improving, some of us still prefer the practicality of a regular cycling short. Easy to get on and off and supremely practical during mid-ride pit stops, the Pearl Izumi Elite In-R-Cool Women's Shorts gives you all of these advantages as well as giving your bum ample protection no matter for how many miles you plan on covering.
Just as men do, we ladies tend to take a good, hard look at the quality of the pad before we plunk down our hard-earned cash for a pair of shorts. Pearl Izumi has impressed us with their Women's Elite 3D Chamois. This comfort-oriented pad is designed for riders who get out anywhere from three to seven days in a week. It has been pre-shaped to fit the contours of a woman's body and even has slightly thicker (13mm) padding than the P.R.O. Seamless Chamois for a touch more protection. The Pearl Izumi Pressure Relief Technology ensures that the pad won't cut off your circulation. The pad's four-way stretch will keep it moving with you and wicking sweat so that you won’t have to worry about irritating, saddle-sore-causing friction, while the active carbon yarns improve thermoregulation and keep static-induced fatigue to a minimum.
The stretchy Elite Transfer fabric in the Elite Women's In-R-Cool Shorts offers a great combination of moisture management capabilities with the special In-R-Cool technology that reflects direct sunlight to lower the fabric's temperature to reduce body surface temperature by up to 5%.
Silicone leg grippers hold the leg hems in place without pulling or pinching your skin. If you are wondering where your tan line will fall, the Pearl Izumi Elite In-R-Cool Shorts have an eight and three-quarter inch inseam in a size Medium. Reflective elements are included to keep you visible during times of low level lighting.
The Pearl Izumi Elite In-R-Cool Women's Shorts are available in Black and Black/White. They come in sizes X-Small through XX-Large.
- Elite 3D chamois uses breathable, flexible materials and Pressure Relief Technology (PRT) to keep you feeling good even on long rides
- Seamless silicone leg grippers mean your shorts won't ride up on you
- Reflective accents make it easier for those with motors to see you in the dark

What community has to say
Great shorts, but rough edges
I have owned multiple pairs of Pearl Izumi shorts, and have always been very satisfied. I bought these to replace some older shorts, and the quality is what I expect from Pearl Izumi...except for the "sharp" scratchy edge of the leg elastic band. I washed and wore them on a ride, hoping that this would help, but it did not. Maybe I have sensitive skin, but have never had a pair of bike shorts do this before. All four pairs had the same rough cut...
very nice shorts
These are perfect length, and as usual with Pearl Izumi, they are well made, I got the XL since I got a pair of tights a few months earlier and the XL was good, but these shorts are a tad big. Not enough to return, but just someting to keep in mind. Also, I have to say, the padding is a bit overdone in my opinion, but is ok. I may go for a pair with less padding in the future, but as always, I know I can get good long use out of Pearl Izumi gear.
