Tri Fly IV Carbon Shoes - Men's

Pearl Izumi knows a thing or two about triathlon. From fast transitions to optimal power transfer, its cycling shoes are continually redefined to meet the needs of triathletes who seem to blaze through transitions. The Tri Fly IV Carbon Men's Shoes are no exception.

With inspiration taken from the original Tri Fly, the latest version features a fully lined mesh upper. This seamless construction is ideal for those riders who prefer to race barefoot and yet it is equally as comfortable with socks. Synthetic reinforcing was added to the toebox and sides of the shoes to provide support for your feet, and a strap that crosses behind the heel helps to keep you from slipping.

The uppers were constructed on Pearl's PRO 1:1 Power Plate. This unidirectional carbon creates an ultra-stiff and lightweight sole. It features concave shaping so that the stack height is a low 7mm. Additionally, the plate beneath the cleat has been enhanced so that all of your power is focused into the pedal stroke. A longitudinal arch support also helps optimize power transfer and efficiency. This sole features Direct-Vent technology, which allows air to circulate around your feet from the underside of the sole. It works in conjunction with the mesh uppers to keep your feet cool. The insole is dual-density EVA for support in the arch and cushioning in more sensitive areas of the foot.

The Tri Fly IV Carbon is secured with Pearl's 1:1 Anatomic TRI closure. This two strap, hook-and-loop system features a wide forefoot strap that wraps from the inside of the arch around to the outside. A secondary strap secures over the toe. This system is designed to eliminate pressure from your forefoot so that your toes don't go numb 80 miles into your race.

The Pearl Izumi Try Fly IV Carbon Shoes are available in whole and half sizes from 39.0 to 47.0 and whole sizes 48.0 to 49.0. They come in either Black/firey red or White/silver.
