Keeping the ears warm during cool weather rides is essential to late or early season cycling comfort. The Pearl Izumi Thermal Headband effectively pulls perspiration from your skin while retaining body heat for maximum comfort. To accomplish this, the Thermal Headband relies on Pearl's P.R.O. Thermal fabric.

This fabric, an insulating and moisture wicking material with a soft liner, is stretchy to snugly fit against your ears and under helmet straps. The Pearl Izumi Thermal Headband has clearance for a ponytail and it has reflective elements for low light safety. It comes in Black and it's one size fits all.

Here's what others have to say...

Good until the wind picks up

  • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer

Definitely keep me warm as advertised until a headwind springs up. Then they work for a few minutes, but I'm nursing frozen ears by the time I finish.

Pearl Izumi USA is based near Boulder CO and they make GREAT leg, arm, and head warmers. Great fabrics. Great quality.

Pros: The thing I like most about this headband -along with the high quality- is that it covers the ears fully thus keeping cold air & wind out of your ears while riding.

    Cons: None.

I use this thermal headband on all rides 50-65*. I use Pearl Izumi's "thermal cap" for temperatures below 50*

    Ride and have fun!

    Does the job!

    • Familiarity:I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
    • Fit:True to size

Gave this as a gift to my Sister for her new addiction to running. She says it performs well and fits great (she doesn't have a large head).
