Why We Like The Sugar Thermal Cycling Tight

There's nothing like hopping on our bike on a crisp fall morning, riding by the changing leaves and up the winding roads of our favorite canyon. But, pedaling in the cool air of the mammoth mountains that surround Salt Lake City, we need to be fully covered to enjoy our ride in comfort. Pearl Izumi's Sugar Thermal Cycling Tight keeps us fully warm and dry, even when we're sweating pushing it to the summit. Lightweight fabric keeps us protected without overheating, and Pearl Izumi's chamois offers edge-free cushioning for optimal comfort.

tights that DON'T stretch

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I am a long-time wearer of Pearl Izumi clothing and have owned several pair of cycling tights. This is the first pair with zero stretch. They are sized WAY too small to have that little give, and once they are on, which is in itself a workout, they wear like low riders. Who wants winter tights that leave a lower back gap??? Very dissappointed.

These pants are defective

Familiarity:
I returned this product before using it

I have an old pair of thermal Pearl Izumi sugar tights that I love. I thought it would be great to have a second pair. My sizing with pearl izumi pants is pretty standard and I have not had issues with their products in the past, however, these pants are the exception. I could barely get my foot through the leg hole. There is no give. To be honest, they fit like an extra small. They aren't even long enough to go down to my ankles!!! In comparison, my other pair which has a little extra length for me at the bottom.

No Good

Familiarity:
I returned this product before using it

These have no elasticity whatsoever and fit much snugger than other Pearl Izumi bike pants. The chamois comes part way down the thigh which feels really weird. I'm returning these. What happened to the Pearl Izumi Elite Thermal pants? They were the best.

I really wanted to love these

Familiarity:
I returned this product before using it

They are unbelievably soft. I really wanted these to work as I knot they would be super warm and I really like the look. With that being said, what is with the chamois? It's not that I would say it's big, but it's sewn down far on the leg making it super uncomfortable. Really bummed as I've been doing winter riding and was looking forward to these.
