Pearl Izumi Sugar Women's Shorts $59.95
Give yourself some Sugar.
After a sunny ride, you no longer have to endure an evening out with an awkward tan line when wearing a short skirt, that is if you were wearing Pearl Izumi's Sugar Women's Short's. This is thanks, in part, to the shorts' five-inch inseam. However, that's only one benefit that makes these bottoms one of Izumi's bestsellers.
A six-panel, anatomic shape compliments the female body, which has been further enhanced through the incorporation of Izumi's SELECT Transfer fabric. This material features a four-way stretch that conforms to your contours, while also being quite efficient at moisture management. As a result, the shorts will stay cool and dry over the course of your ride.
Furthering this level of comfort, Izumi included its Woman's Tour 3D chamois. This insert provides a next-to-skin fit that lets the Select Transfer fabric to effectively pull perspiration from you skin and quickly evaporated it -- allowing you to stay dry and irritation free.
Silicon leg grippers hold the shorts in place while pedaling, and the seams are sewn flat in order to be smooth against your skin.
The Pearl Izumi Sugar Women's Shorts are available in six sizes from X-Small to XX-Large and in the colors Black, Black/white, Black/lime, Black/orchid, Black/scuba blue, Black/paradise pink, Black/true red, and White/black.

Quality has changed
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
I have a couple pairs of PI Sugar short. I really like my other pairs - substantial material, nice compression and a very good length for me. I bought a pair in the spring of this year and thought it was a fluke knock off or something. Very thin fabric. I kept them to use on my indoor spin bike but never planned on using them on a long outdoor ride. They bunch up, they get baggy and because of the thinner fabric, more lumps and bumps on my body are more visible. Keep that in mind if you don't like the sausage leg look of bike shorts - these will give you that because of the thin fabric. I just ordered another pair thinking that maybe I had just gotten a bad quality pair last time. Nope. Same thin fabric that would stretch out and bunch up. I sent them back and will never order/buy Pearl Izumi Sugar shorts again if this is a permanent change in fabric. If you have a 1/2hr spin class, they'll most likely do the job, but I would never wear them out on the road for any longer than that. Really disappointed in Pearl Izumi for making this change.
Does the job!

I like my bike shorts short, and these were super comfortable! The hip band hit my shape in the right way so I didn't have to deal with the awkward "hike them up too high or way too low"and they had ample padding so ensure a comfy ride. I'll definitely get more of these in the future.
