Cool-weather comfort and versatility.

Slip into the Pearl Izumi Men's Select Thermal Bib Tight before riding on crisp fall mornings and chilly spring afternoons. This full-length bib tight is ideal for cool transitional months and mild(er) winter conditions, insulating your lower body from chilly breezes and cool morning air. Its mesh bib upper provides proper support without stifling your upper body when the mercury rises throughout your ride. Its anatomic multi-panel design conforms to your body for unrestricted movement, while flatlock stitching provides a smooth feel to combat irritation and chafing. Moreover, you'll find an 8-inch lower leg zip for easy on and off, as well as reflective elements to increase visibility at night.

Its integrated 3D Tour Chamois alleviates saddle pressure with its dual-layer construction and 13-millimeter padded foam. Pre-shaped for a body-conforming fit, this chamois is built for longer hauls and extended bike tours. Plus, you'll appreciate its Pressure Relief Technology, which promotes bloodflow when you're in the saddle for long periods.

I only own Pearl Izumi bibs

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size

I have 5 pairs of Pearl Izumi bibs. Three of them are Elite bib shorts, and two of them are bib tights. I really wanted the Elite PRO thermal bibs, because I already own a pair and I just wanted a second. But I got these because CC didn't have the Elite PRO in my size (small). These are not fleece-lined, so I was concerned that they would not keep my legs warm in cold weather. I was very impressed with the thermal capability of these on non-windy rides above 50 degrees. Until I got these, I had been wearing a pear of polyester long johns under my bib shorts, and while that works, it looks kinda wrong and the seams don't quite work in the perennial area. I've worn these Select Thermal Bib Tights on about 5 rides now and I'm very impressed with how well they've kept me warm. Now, if you expect to ride in 49 or lower temperatures with wind, spend the extra cash on the Elite Pro fleece-lined tights or better, or wear base layer tights underneath.
