Pearl Izumi Select Thermal Barrier Women's Jacket $0.00
Extend your season.
It's part of the cycle -- the days get shorter, and summer's heat gives way to winter's chill. But your riding season doesn't have to end just because the mercury has dropped. That's why Pearl Izumi built the Select Thermal Barrier Women's Jacket. Its highly weather-resistant fleece construction laughs in the face of gusts and light rain, while the breathable back panel keeps you from overheating under hard efforts.
The Select Thermal Barrier Jacket is built from Pearl's Select fleece. The material was chosen for its blend of lightweight insulation and excellent weather protection. The front panel is windproof and water-resistant, while the back panel is built from an air-permeable fabric for added breathability. What that means for you is that moderate wind and rain are blocked out, the fleece keeps you warm, and the back panel releases extra heat and moisture. So, sweat is pulled from the inside to the surface of the jacket, where it's quickly evaporated. And that means that you'll remain warm and dry, instead of feeling like you're cooking in a sauna.
When trying on the Select jacket, you'll notice the semi-form fit cut, which basically means that the upper-torso and arms employ a relaxed, yet anatomic cut. As you get to the bottom of the sleeves and torso, the cut relaxes. The fit of the sleeves is adjustable via hook-and-loop fasteners, which keep the collars right at your wrist. The tall collar fights off gusts of wind, while the full-length zipper makes quick layering changes a snap. There are reflective accents to increase your visibility to motorists. And since you need a spot to keep your ride essentials, there's a zippered pocket at the back.
The Pearl Izumi Select Thermal Barrier Women's Jacket is available in six sizes from X-Small to XX-Large and in the colors Black/black and Blackberry.
