Pearl Izumi Select Glove - Women's $0.00
You're going to spend many a mile staring at your gloves — make them good-looking ones.
The Pearl Izumi Select Glove makes both your hand and your eye happy with effective padding on the palm and a sweet embroidered pattern on the top. Comfort Bridge padding provides strategically placed cushioning to reduce pressure points on major nerves in your palm so you don't suffer from pain or numbing. The glove's Clarino synthetic leather is soft and durable, while the Direct Vent mesh on the top of the glove ventilates your hand and protects it from the sun's damaging rays. A soft, absorbent surface on the thumb provides a needed patch for blotting moisture from your face when you really start to warm up.

Good glove for 1hr bike rides
- Gender: Female
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
- Fit: True to size
My husband bought these for me after I recently got a road bike. I mostly run, but I ride my bike 2-3x/week up to 15 miles at a time and these are good for what I do. They do ventilate well, even when I've been crazy enough to go for a lunch time ride on a 100 degree summer day in SoCal. My hand circumference is at the lower end of the small size range; the small fits well. They have a pull tab on the ring fingers to get them off more easily.
Need more padding
I was in need of some new riding gloves, and thought these would be great.
They are alright but could definitely use more padding. I usually wear a small glove and ordered a size medium and am glad that I did, they fit perfect. These will do for shorter rides.
What is the heaviest amount of gel fill...
What is the heaviest amount of gel fill style? I like leather palm and cotton top, anything like that?
I really like the L.G. "Nimbus" glove; it's very light weight, yet has plenty of cushioning while still being nimble. They let lots of air flow, as well. Order up a size, though. Also, I like Gore's "ALP-X glove for winter. Gore also has a great glove that for some reason is only offered as a man's glove: the XENON glove. You can just order that according to the size chart, what's in a name anyway, as long as the size is the same.
Many ladies' like Giro. I can only speak on what I have/had. Beyond that, it's truly a personal preference/trial & error.
Hope this helps.
I was hoping these gloves would be as good as my older Attack gloves. Not so. The padding is not as good and my hands seemed to get fatigued going on longer rides. I bought 2 pairs so will have to make them work. I normally wear a ladies large and that is what I ordered...fit is good.
They are cute.
Nice gloves for cheap
The gloves have adequate padding for a beginner mountain biker like me, who appreciates the pads! The gloves are a bit tight, though, so I'd probably order a size up next time since they get hard to remove after my hands warm up and swell a bit.
