Quest Bib Short

Whether a destination near or far tugs at your heartstrings on a sunny weekend morning, trust the Pearl Izumi Quest Bib Short to accompany you through rich countryside on two wheels. Redesigned this year, this accessible bib short comes with all of the features you need to stay comfortable in the saddle in a simple, no-frills design. Fortunately, that no-frills design keeps the Quest's price accessible too, so if you're saving up for a new ride, it won't set you back much. New for this year, Pearl revisited its entire chamois line, from entry level to top-end kit, so the Quest's SELECT Escape 1:1 Chamois comes crafted with a new blended thickness foam, which eliminates harsh ridges and seaming in favor of a smooth, plush interface. Between its stretchy, accommodating chamois and supportive, breathable fabric, the Quest will serve you loyally as you explore rolling hills and thrilling descents.

Not comfortable

I try to avoid using it because its just not comfortable. Ive regretted the purchase. The large on my body is pretty good and tight on the thighs but the chamois can still move and is honestly just subpar.

I usually wear large in the quest non bibs, order same size with bib, but runs smaller.

Awful in the saddle over 2 hours

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

I own several bib shorts and these by far are the most uncomfortable. Lots on saddle pain over time. I cannot recommend.

Not a comfortable fit

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

The seams are not flat locked so they're easily felt against the skin which is uncomfortable unto itself. The chamois is just polyester foam, and it doesn't have relief channels like other brands and it wasn't centered. Lastly, had to readjust the bibs periodically due to riding up. No one wants to be thinking about their apparel while riding. Would not recommend.

The material feels nice. Fit is mostly as expected. My only complaint is the length of the legs. They are a little short to start and then I find they ride up quite a bit, but this does not seem to impact comfort. Chamois is what you would expect for $70. These are good for commuting and lunch rides, but I don't think I would want to wear them for rides much longer than an hour. All-in-all a decent buy for $70.

Your Average Bib

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

Looks good and fits okay. There is way too much movement in the male precisous area. It has a thin chamois, therefore, this bib does not do well for rides longer than 25 miles. I would not buy it again.
