Pearl Izumi modeled its Pursuit Attack Bib Shorts after its elite Attack Bib Shorts, offering riders a more affordable version of the elite level design for everyday training rides. With a classic eight-panel construction made out of Pearl Izumi's SELECT Transfer Dry fabric, these bib shorts are an everyday workhorse that'll reliably pull moisture away from your skin as you sweat to keep you cool and comfortable.
Pearl Izumi includes a drop tail design, so if you've never worn bibs before and are hesitant to relinquish the convenience of regular shorts, the Pursuit Attack promises to make on-the-go nature calls quicker and easier than you'd expect them to be with bibs. To make sure you receive the support and cushioning you need throughout long days spent in the saddle, Pearl Izumi includes its soft, stretchy Select Pursuit 1:1 Chamois, featuring foam arranged in a strategic topography acting as a loyal barrier between you and your saddle. A standard nine-inch inseam and silicone leg grippers provide you with secure leg coverage as well as protection from the sun, and reflective accents help to increase your visibility for the rides that last longer than you expect them to.

Great for the price
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
These were my first pair of bibs - I've always worn shorts in the past - and they are more comfortable than I imagined! Most of my rides are 20-30 miles but I did an 80 mile ride in these and didn't have any issues with them. I really appreciate the drop tail, which makes it way easier to go to the bathroom mid-ride (one of my prior hesitations to switching to bibs). I ordered the same size - small - that I wear in Pearl Izumi shorts. The padding in these seems a little more sparse than my shorts, but I don't notice it while on the bike, so they just might need to be replaced a little sooner.

Restrictive
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
I have other pearl Izumi riding pants that fit well so went with my usual size. These felt tighter than my others but I kind of like that and they look good. Unfortunately once I was riding they felt restrictive on my legs. I tried moving the hem of the leg higher on my thigh but it didn?t really make any difference. I?m hoping they might stretch some but they are definitely smaller than others. I am 5?7?, 120 pounds. I got size medium.
