Pearl Izumi P.R.O. Pittards Glove $0.00
Just enough of a good thing.
Padding on a glove is great, but too much can cause you to lose touch with the bike. If you are looking for a balance of response and comfort, the Pearl Izumi Men’s P.R.O. Pittards Gel Glove is for you. Strategically- placed Comfort Bridge gel pads in the palm protect critical nerves from pressure points and avert numbing; Pittards WR 10X Natural Carbon leather provides optimal grip and feel, as well as super durability. Pearl Izumi lined the palm with a carbon from bamboo mesh that dries quickly and provides superior anti-odor protection. Direct Mesh fabric on the top of the glove provides SPF 40+ protection while allowing air to pass through.
- Measure around your hand at the widest point excluding the thumb.

These gloves are described as having...
These gloves are described as having padding, however the picture shown would seem to indicate that these gloves are not padded. Which is it? Pads or no pads?
Nice and snug. great for getting some nice and solid grip on your grips but the lack of padding makes it a pain if you are on a bumpy trail.
Good Gloves for Racing
My husband doesn't like a glove with padding and really enjoys racing with the the PRO Pittards. He wore the previous version of the PRO Pittard and he likes the minor changes Pearl made. This is the only glove he wears.
Nice gloves; no padding
The description says these gloves have "Strategically- placed Comfort Bridge gel pads in the palm" - man, they must be STRATEGICALLY placed because I can't find them anywhere. As far as I can tell the palm is nothing but thin leather.
That said, the Pittards leather is awesome - grippy, breathable, conforms to your hand, stays dry. The gloves are made in the USA, which is nice, and they're well designed in general. There's a little elastic gore at the base of the thumb to keep them snug but not uncomfortably tight, and the pull-off tab on the ring finger works well and doesn't add noticeable bulk.
If you want a very thin glove these are a great option.
Good Gloves but no padding
These gloves are good but they have no padding. They are supper light and fit very well. Great for hot weather. If you like light weight none padded gloves then these are the gloves for you!
