Pearl Izumi constructed the Leader Jersey using a full-torso treatment of its top-end P.R.O. Transfer In-R-Cool fabric. This material is lightweight, super elastic, and incorporates what's known as Coldblack technology. This is a finishing treatment that reduces the absorption of heat rays in darker fabrics, resulting in protection from the sun and improved heat management. This built-in feature is based on technology that reflects the sun's rays to reduce the surface temperature of the fabric by up to 35 degrees Fahrenheit in direct sunlight, so you can be wearing an entirely black kit and feel like you're wearing white.

Aside from taking such care with the material, Pearl Izumi also ensures your comfort by welding stretchy, mesh Direct-Vent panels under the arms to provide extra ventilation. Easy all-out cooling has been made possible by the full length zipper. And don't worry about struggling to get the zipper up and down; this one moves like a silky dream.

Three back pockets on the P.R.O. Leader Jersey allow you to bring along your whole repair kit, wallet, gel packs and CO2 cartridges. A fourth sweat-proof pocket has been included so that you can keep your phone accessible and safe from moisture. Extra support at the back pockets keep them from sagging when fully loaded for a five-hour ride, and an elasticized gripper on the back keeps the jersey fully in place.

The Pearl Izumi P.R.O. Leader jersey is available in five sizes from Small to XX-Large and in the colors Black/electric blue, True Red/white, and White/shadow grey.
