Pearl Izumi P.R.O. In-R-Cool Women's Tri Singlet $269.95
Ready to race.
It's no secret that Pearl Izumi's line of P.R.O. gear is the pinnacle of this company's technology-driven products. And with just a quick look at the P.R.O. In-R-Cool Women's Tri Singlet, Pearl's intent becomes clear -- this top was built for speed.
Unlike common dark textiles, which absorb heat, Pearl's In-R-Cool fabrics have a UPF 50+ rating and reflect the sun's radiant energy. This reduces the fabrics surface temperature in order to avoid overheating during the ride and run stages on hot, sunny days. Also keeping you cool is Pearl Izumi's proprietary P.R.O. Aero fabric, a blend of nylon, elastane, and polyester.
The resulting engineered knit produces an outer-surface that's optimized to smooth turbulent air and reduce drag, and as stated above, it also provides core comfort. It's textured for breathability and to accelerate moisture transfer away from the skin. And by keeping your skin cool and dry, you'll experience both irritation free pedaling and running.
Providing a lightly compressive fit that maximizes muscle efficiency, the P.R.O In-R-Cool's multi-panel design allows you to spin with consistent power. It also ensures that the singlet provides the greatest degree of mobility by working with the Aero fabrics natural stretch in order to eliminate the threat of binding.
Pearl Izumi does not recommend the P.R.O. In-R-Cool Women's Tri Singlet for use in chlorinated pools. A laundry bag is included with the singlet, and it comes in five sizes from X-Small to X-Large and in the colors White, Scuba Blue, and Black.
