Keep your cool.

Pearl Izumi's new P.R.O. In-R-Cool Jersey was developed with the main objective of keeping you cool and dry throughout your longest of warm-weather rides. It accomplished this using its advanced fabric technology, which works in conjunction with a streamlined fit that provides you with the ultimate in upper-body support and overall comfort.

Pearl Izumi constructed the P.R.O. In-R-Cool jersey out of its lightweight P.R.O. Transfer Dry fabric. This material is known for its exceptional moisture management, which works by transporting sweat away from your skin to the quick-drying outer-surface of the fabric. In addition to this, the material's Minerale treatment utilizes natural volcanic minerals in order to accelerate evaporative cooling, while also providing odor reduction and UV protection. On top of that, Izumi's In-R-Cool technology reflects the sun's rays, effectively lowering the surface temperature of the fabric. In fact, Izumi claims that this treatment lowers the surface temperature of the fabric by up to 35 degrees Fahrenheit in direct sunlight. Overall, this results in you staying dry, cool, and fresh throughout your longest rides.

The engineered-elasticity in the jersey's fabric panels, along with an anatomic sleeve construction, allows the P.R.O. to follow your movements in the saddle. This means that the fit is free from any bunching, pinching, or chafing while in the cycling position. Pearl Izumi calls this its 'form fit,' which is cut to closely follow the contours of your body. Additionally, Pearl Izumi knew that you'd be wearing the P.R.O. In-R-Cool in a variety of conditions, which is why it built the jersey using 'layer-friendly' flatlock stitching throughout. Combined with the anatomic cut and elastic P.R.O. Transfer Dry fabric, the smooth stitching further reduces any friction at the seams.

To secure this fit, and to prevent the jersey from shifting while riding, Pearl Izumi placed an elasticized gripper along the elongated rear hem. This also prevents the jersey from sagging when its three rear cargo pockets are loaded with your riding essentials. A fourth sweat-proof pocket was also added to keep your electronic devices safe from moisture. You'll also find a full-length front zipper, as well as reflective elements that increase your visibility to motorists in low-light riding conditions.

The Pearl Izumi P.R.O. In-R-Cool Jersey is available in five sizes from Small to XX-Large and in the colors Black/screaming yellow and True Red/white.

Race Jersey With Design Flaws

  • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit:Runs large

The fabric holds onto to the moisture and gets very saggy. The medium is way too long. Put anything in the back pockets and the jersey starts to get caught on your seat. My recommendation is to size down and use this jersey for cool weather.

Race cut jersey but with sacrifice

  • Gender:Male
  • Familiarity:I've used it several times

5'11 150 lbs. The medium was too long so returned for the s/m. Fit is good and form fitting. Fabric is very elastic, slightly uncomfortable and clings once a sweat begins -which is immediate because the torso of the jersey is not very breathable. This jersey utilizes advanced technologies that help to evaporate moisture quickly which seems true, thankfully.
Tossing the cell phone, spare road tube and granola bar in the back pockets was enough to sag the overly stretchy torso/pockets off the waist and downward by a distracting measure.
On a positive note, The shoulders and sleeves are quite nice and the white version with green is a good looking piece
