Pearl Izumi P.R.O. Barrier Lite Womens' Jacket $109.95
Kind of like having an umbrella on speed dial.
The variable riding conditions that accompany the late season often means a little extra apparel planning our part. Thankfully, Pearl Izumi designed a new collection of clothing exactly for these fall and winter climates, ensuring that we remain shielded from the elements out there. The P.R.O. Barrier Lite Women's Jacket aligns itself within the top of this line, standing in as the ultra-light, packable protective layer that you won't want to leave home without.
The jacket was constructed using Pearl Izumi's P.R.O. Barrier Lite fabric. This is a lightweight, breathable material that's perfectly suited for the sort of weather changes we often face during a volatile fall afternoon on the road. Made from tightly-woven monofilament materials, the Barrier Lite fabric gives you protection from the elements, while also allowing your torso to breathe and avoid moisture overload. Its versatility is one reason it's able to be used either as a wind breaker on high-speed descents, a rain protector during flash storms in the summer, or even as an extra layer to take along for winter rides — just in case.
The Barrier Lite jacket has been anatomically designed to allow a layer underneath it, yet at the same time, it's cut close enough to the body to prevent excess fabric from flapping in the wind. Elasticized hem and cuffs maintain a secure fit over your jersey, and the jacket's full-length zipper makes putting it on, and removing it, while riding an easy task. One easy-access envelope pocket was added, and reflective elements round out the P.R.O. Barrier Lite.
The Pearl Izumi P.R.O. Barrier Lite Women's Jacket is available in six sizes from X-Small to XX-Large and in the colors Black and Blackberry.
