Pearl Izumi Infinity Windblocking Hooded Shirt - Long-Sleeve - Women's $124.95
Modern meets traditional.
With years of cycling experience under their belts, the designers at Pearl Izumi are more than qualified to create clothing that suits your needs. In the Infinity Windblocking Hooded Shirt, they took a relatively traditional design approach to attacking the issue of staying dry and comfortable during chilly-weather rides. However, the Infinity does have a few subtle innovations that set it apart from other cool-weather cycling tops, and in typical Pearl Izumi fashion, a few innovations that make it a more versatile top overall.
Made from lightweight, brushed Elite Thermal Windblocking Fleece, the Infinity Windblocking Hooded Shirt provides superior moisture transfer and warmth so that your core can stay warm and dry. Unlike Pearl Izumi's standard Elite Thermal Fleece, this fabric has wind- and water-resistance built into the fabric mechanically. The advantage to this construction, rather than a treatment, is that it won't wear out over time. The top is also equipped with a fleecy hood to keep your head and neck cozy, as well as internal fist mitts that seal out drafts and lock in warmth. Pearl Izumi built elastane into the back panel. This built-in stretch provides an unlimited range of motion, feels more natural in the pedal position, and adds durability.
You'll also notice the Infinity has a quarter-length zipper. This zipper is backed by not only a draft flap, but also with a zipper garage that encases the length of the zipper, ensuring fantastic protection from those cold winds you’ll undoubtedly encounter. Instead of the traditional triple-rear-pockets design, the Infinity has two hand pockets in front and one in the rear, which adds a bit of streetwear versatility.
The Pearl Izumi Women’s Infinity Windblocking Hooded Shirt comes with reflective elements for better visibility in low-level lighting. It is available in three rich color choices: Dahlia/black, Pink Punch/black, and White/peacock. It comes in sizes X-Small through X-Large.

- How to Measure:
- For best results, take measurements over your underwear.
- Measure under your arms, around the fullest part of your chest.
- Natural Waist:
- Measure around your natural waistline, keeping the tape a bit loose.
- Measure around the fullest part of your body at the top of your legs.
- Using pants that fit well, measure the crotch seam to the bottom of the leg.

- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
I just received this jacket today and I LOVE it! I tried it on immediately and found it to be very comfortable, light weight .. plenty of length in the sleeves.
The hood fits nicely under my helmet too if needed. I normally order the Large, but with this I went with the Dahlia/black XL so that I can layer my clothing and glad that I did. This hoody is a fantastic deal with the ongoing 30% off sale.
Love the top, but it definitely runs small. The cut is made for a biking stance (arms forward) so it fits a bit tighter in the chest.
