Driven by input from two-time Ironman World Champion Tim DeBoom, Pearl Izumi created the Men's EM Tri N 2 Running Shoe. Ideal for triathlon training and racing, this long-distance shoe strikes a careful balance of efficient foot positioning, explosive energy return, and comfort. The breezy mesh upper feels smooth against your bare foot thanks to seamless construction, and the supple midsole features a low 3.5mm drop for easy transitions between heel, mid, and forefoot strikes. Seconds matter when you're racing and training, so Pearl Izumi's designers added a quick-lacing system at the forefoot and a pull tab at the heel so you can get this shoe on and off fast. Suddenly, long courses melt away underneath your toes and stage transitions simply fly by on your way to the podium.
