Pearl Izumi Elite Thermal Women's Tights $124.95
Stay warm, be happier.
Early morning can be the only time you have to train, but dang, the air is frosty when the sun is still rising. Luckily, every problem has a solution, and pulling on the Pearl Izumi Elite Thermal Cycling Tights is your answer to getting those base miles in. Made from proprietary fabrics that absorb
odor, wick moisture, and warm the body, the Elite Thermal Cycling Tights will keep you pedaling through the worst that winter has to offer.
Pearl Izumi's Elite Thermal Cycling Tights use an anatomical eight-panel construction made from the
exclusive Elite Thermal Fleece fabric. This fabric was
strategically selected in order to ensure a hand-in-hand system of
warming insulation and effective moisture transfer, and the construction provides a consistent internal temperature. To keep you riding comfortably, the tights
feature Pearl's anatomically designed Elite 3D Chamois. The chamois uses variable density padding that's been pre-shaped to enhance blood
flow. Additionally, its breathable, four-way stretch material creates an
abrasion-free surface that conforms to the body and moves moisture away.
To ensure a quality fit, the Thermal tights use an eight-panel construction that allows full leg articulation throughout cycling movements. This design also reduces abrasion that's typically caused by slack and bunched material from poor fit and fabric hold. To help hold everything in place, the tights use a silicone gripper at the ankle and a flattering wide waistband. Pearl Izumi also added 360 degree reflective accents for safer night riding.
The Pearl Izumi Elite Thermal Cycling Tights are available in sizes from X-Small to XX-Large, and in the color Black/black.

B-Ready for the Long, Cold Road Ahead.

Not bad. Fairly good fit, though sloppy in the back, no big deal. Pretty good at windbreaking, but not as good as Gore's *Windstopper technology.
Pretty warm...these tights are actually heavier than all my other tights, even thicker than Gore's.
Length is good...ankle zips nice.
Chamois is a miss...again, a very personal preference.
All in All, not Giordana F.C.R., but for the $ they work.

Nice reflective elements on these P.I. tights. Not quite as good as Gore's, but way better than many other brands. Wish other bike-wear manufacturers would follow this lead and put more 'reflectors' on all their garments for better visibility.
Elite "3-D" Chamois
Leaves something to be desired.

love, love these. They are very warm and provide plenty of coverage on a 30 degree morning. Some reviews said they run small, my experience was the opposite. I am a small/medium so ordered the medium and it was extremely too big, the small fits with some room to spare
