Barrier Balaclava

Bringing your whole head in from the cold on a ride can be as easy as slipping on the Pearl Izumi Barrier Balaclava. A P.R.O. Barrier panel over the forehead and ears prevents brainfreeze of a different sort by insulating against windchill, and it works in conjunction with P.R.O. Thermal to wick moisture and keep your noggin dry. The whole piece follows a slim fit, so it gives you room to breathe without taking up too much space underneath your brain bucket.

I'm a cold weather rider now!

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

I used to dread riding with any bit of chill on a ride. The wind chill can feel like pins and needles slapping your face, until - enter this Balaclava - it fits snug but keeps your face warm. Now I can look forward to riding almost year round. :)
