Keep your team in action.

The Park Tool PRS-20 Team Race Stand is a compact, Euro-style work stand that securely holds your bike without clamping the frame tubes or seat post. Ideal for bikes with ultra lightweight frame tubes and seatposts, and for bikes with tight access areas that can't be clamped. Originally designed for the mechanics of Team Discovery, the PRS-20 is available to professional and home mechanics everywhere. It features quick release mounts that hold the bike securely by the front or rear dropouts. A vinyl-covered cradle and quick release retention strap stabilize the bottom bracket. A 360 degree horizontal rotation allows easy access to both sides of bike, and you can clamp the front fork or the rear dropouts . It folds to 33-inches (84cm) for easy transport and storage. It has a stable tripod base and a built-in "sleeping hub" allows easy chain cleaning with rear wheel removed. The bottom bracket height quickly adjusts from 28-inches to 38-inches (71cm to 96cm). It has a durable blue powder coat finish, and high wear parts are chrome plated.

  • Quick-release mounts for front, rear dropouts
  • Rear axle adjusts from 130 to 135mm
  • Sliding Thru Axle Adaptor for 15, 20mm thru-axles (sold separately)
  • Bottom bracket height adjusts from 28 to 38 inches

great stand if you care about your bike

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Installation took about 10 minutes. It's the only way to go if you don't want your aero seat tube or other thin walled carbon tubes clamped and dinged by a careless mechanic. I have a traditional stand for my other bikes but this stand is a necessity for expensive bikes. I don't usually use the included strap unless I'm replacing a bottom bracket. I usually pop it in after a ride to do my chain. If I need to see a bike mechanic (rare) I take the stand with me. It folds up quite neatly but is a little heavy.

well built, shoddy quality control

Received my stand and it was painted in a sloppy manner. There are areas where the blue rustproofing was simply absent.

All the hardware was in the box, so no missing nuts or bolts. This stand really needs to be coupled with a hanging stand, so you can just toss it up and hang from the saddle for the quick fixes. If you know what you can and can't do with this stand, it's not a bad investment.

    Nice Stand

This thing is heavy duty and about as portable as a stand like this can be. The only reason I didnt give it 5 stars is b/c you have to take off the front wheel to place the bike on the stand, so its a little more difficult to do a quick fix (and you cant really use it to hold your bike in the garage between rides - which is not really a big deal). The assembly is easy - took maybe 10 mins

      Great stand!

I actually own another stand, but my brother-in-law has this one. Mine is also a portable stand that has tripod legs. However mine has the traditional clamp that you would clamp on a seat post. When we built my wife's cervelo slc sl, it has an aero seat post which forced me to clamp onto the carbon frame. I was nervous that I was going to put too much pressure on the frame and have it break. The PRS 20 eliminates that problem by not clamping at all. It just sits on the bottom bracket and clamps in on the front fork. No worrying about crushing carbon. Genius.
