As more and more components and frames are constructed from carbon fiber, the more important proper torque while installing becomes. And because a snapped seatpost or a broken handlebar is not on our list of what we want to experience on our next ride, Park Tool Ratcheting Torque Wrench is here to measure tightening force so we can get it to manufacture's recommended specifications. It works just like a trusty socket wrench, but it clicks when it reaches the torque value you set it, keeping your bar, stem, pivots, seat collar, and saddle torqued just right so it won't slip, but not so much that it could crack or snap.
The TW-5.2 works in a range of 2-14Nm in 0.4Nm increments and the TW-6.2 works in a range of 10-60Nm in 0.25Nm increments. Both use a 3/8in. drive and read both left and right-hand threading. Accurate to within +/- 4%.
