Description

These double ended cone wrenches are ideal for the home mechanic. They're made of thin tool steel and are nickel-plated for long use. Available in four popular sizes -- 13mm/14mm, 15mm/16mm, 17mm/18mm, and 13mm/15mm. Their small size makes them ideal to carry along for quick repairs.

Small and Lightweight

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Simple tool for a simple job! This wrench is awesome and lightweight to ride with. The only issue I had was when you have a very tight bolt or nut the wrench is very thin so its hard to get a lot of leverage. Otherwise it works as all wrenches do!

Like all Park Tools-good quality

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I've got a pair of these and like all Park Tools they are well made and are perfect for adjustment to wheel bearings. Very little investment for the right tool for the job at hand.

Nice cone-ish wrenches

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

For making pairs of cone wrenches, these are a no-brainer. Less to carry, less to lose, and as sturdy as one could want. Spray paint so no one steals em!

Just what the doctor ordered

If you're like most bikes over the age of 5, you may suffer from what is known as loose hub syndrome. Doc's advice: Cone wrenches and a trusty operator. These wrenches are an inexpensive option for those garage mechanics that don't need fancy tools to rebuild hubs all day long. Don't try to use normal wrenches, they will just make you curse obscenities, these work much better.

Must have

These are a must have for anyone who does work on bikes. Loose bearing hubs demand them. Three of the four combinations will get you one of each size, you only have to have one of each size, though a pair would be nice at times.
