You know how much abuse your skin goes through. Your shorts go through at least that, probably more. The One Industries Mission Short is a pair you can count on. The Mission has a long, 12.5 inch inseam to fit nicely over your knee pads. Durable poly-dobby fabric makes up the main body of the short, will stand up to unheard-of abuse, and breathes well to keep you dry and comfortable. A built-in rear yoke provides a bit more room than standard construction so you can move around the short more freely.

The included chamois pulls moisture away from your skin to prevent chafing and irritation. The chamois also provides padding to make long hours of singletrack feel less like you just lost a butt-kicking contest.

The Mission has couple of other nice little touches that set it apart from a lot of other shorts. A handy, compact side pocket with hook-and-loop closure keeps food handy and keeps bulk and irritation to a minimum. A second pocket, a zippered security pocket, resides conveniently on the back yoke. If the fit isn't exactly spot-on-perfect from the store, the dual waist adjusters allow you to fine-tune the fit without having to wear a belt.

The One Industries Mission Short comes in even sizes from 28 to 38 and is available in Navy or Black.

Here's what others have to say...

Heed the warnings - flimsy shorts

  • Familiarity:I've used it several times

The button to close these shorts pulled right out. Beware, they recommend hand wash only as well. I wore these three times - stitching is coming apart and like i said the button came completely out of the fabric. These are very cheap and even for $20 would be a waste of money.....can't 'put it through the wringer' cause it won't last. I can't believe the product description for these starts out by claiming how much abuse they can withstand.

too bad

  • Familiarity:I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

it have a thin fabric, so cheap, I had washed and did not resist.

The worst short for mtb

  • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer

I bough it for XC, the material is cheap, it just didn't resist enought for XC, i would not recommend this short , i mean it´s cheap but it just not worth it

The worst short for mtb

I see why warranty is only 30 days long!

  • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit:True to size

Like I see in other reviews, I was really hoping these would hold up but in reality, these are disposable shorts. The Poly Dobby material is like Tyvek, but doesn't hold up like tyvek! I'm beyond the 30 day warranty from One Ind as well as the 30 day from Chainlove. Should have sent them back as soon as I got them. I'll be lucky if they make it through a 6 month period of occasional use. The material is pilling like crazy. They always washed in cold water with Woolite and hang dried. Makes no difference, they're disintegrating on their own. I caught these on a $39 dollar deal, I think it was? Wouldn't pay $10 for them now that I have seen their true colors. Really makes me reconsider anything from One Industries.

Do not buy these

  • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit:True to size

These shorts basically are falling apart after 1 use. I had washed and that does not help.

Trashed in 2 rides

  • Familiarity:I've used it several times
  • Fit:True to size

I really wanted to like these shorts. They are ultra lightweight and comfortable. However, they do not play well weith velcro.. Guess what has velcro on it EVERYTHING. Gloves, kneepads, backpack.. ugh. They are completely hammered now after only 2 rides. Sending them back.
