Oakley Overload Gloves $0.00
A lightweight, protected glove that's built to test limits.
The Oakley Overload Gloves are built to armor your hands if you ride in rocky, abusive terrain. That said, they offer lots of protection, but it comes in the form of a durable design and Oakley's tough, yet flexible Unobtanium rubber. Without losing your sensations on the bars and shifters, they'll give you the confidence to blast down the trail at warp speed, knowing that even if you come off, you'll still be able to sign the consent form for the ambulance service if necessary.
They have a Clarino palm that's doubled in high wear areas, like the heel of the palm and around the inside of your palm and down the thumb where your hand grips the bar. This gives them extra abrasion resistance and helps them last longer without decreasing your ability to grip the bar and have control in tight situations on the trail. Oakley adds gripper silicone on the fingers to add grip when you need fine dexterity for opening trail maps or cinching down your pack buckles.
The back of the hand is covered with an assemblage of Spandura, mesh, and Unobtanium -- all together creating a look that screams Oakley and shields you from potential bumps and bruises. Compared to their lighter weight Factory and Automatic Gloves, these Overload Gloves have a sturdier build, and they also have a wrist strap to cinch down the fit. The solitary concession to creature comforts is the terry cloth panel on the thumb that's perfect for wiping your brow or the sweat from your eyes on sunny rides.
The Oakley Overload Gloves are available in Black or Sheet Metal and come in four sizes from Small to X-Large.
- Mesh body breathes well as you climb back up to the top of the bike park
- A soft terry nose wipe helps keep your face and goggles clear of mud, blood, and a gross combination of the two
- A small hook-and-loop strap locks the glove down tight for a consistent fit
|S||M||L||XL and up|
- How to Measure:
- Measure from the bottom of the wrist to the top of the middle finger.

Oakley Overload Glove
Good gloves. Not great but definitely good.
I bought these gloves because they looked thick and durable so I could use them when I XC and DH. The quality of the materials used is great, including awesome gripper strips that will not rub off immediately. Two rides in, no crashes, and there is already a whole between the thumb and pointer finger though. I am having them exchanged (H&R customer service rocks) and went a size up this time. I hope this pair will last longer...
